Movie Monday!

As part of the Phenomenal over 50 programming, we’re happy to announce Movie Monday!

Held the 2nd Monday of every month at 1:00 p.m.

August 14  –  September 11  –  October 9  –  November 13  –  December 11

 Snacks and beverages will be provided, so come on over to enjoy a movie and bring your friends!

18 & over Crafts

Since adding a Craft day and evening to our Adult programming in the summer of 2016, it’s really starting to take off!

We would love for you to come craft with Leah or Cait each month!  Craft days and evenings are generally held on the 4th Thursday of each month at 1:00 and 6:00 p.m.  Please let a librarian know if you’re planning on attending so we can be sure we have plenty of supplies for everyone.

Paws & Pages

Join us the first Thursday of every month for Paws & Pages!!

Children will have the opportunity to improve their literacy skills by reading to a dog! From 6:00-7:00 p.m., there will be certified therapy dogs present for your child to spend 15 minutes reading to. This is a fun, new monthly event for children ages 3 and up (with parental supervision) to attend!

Get Read To Write On Saturday!


The world needs your novel! Get Ready to Write on Saturday, October 24 at 10:00 AM at CPL! Come hear move about what it takes to plan for and participate in National Novel Writing Month by writing 50,000 words in the month of November!

The Get Ready to Write session will be hosted by our NaNoWriMo municipal liaison, Lori Robinett! It’s our first National Novel Writing Month event at CPL, and this will be a great opportunity to find out more about how you can participate!
